Despite all of the Nicki Minaj and Cardi B drama, don’t let it distract you from the fact that there are some really cool Autumn/Winter trends for 2018.
There are so many bold trends that everyday people can follow, not just the model bitches on the runway.
Here is a visual of a few of the trends. Be on the look out for my upcoming posts with my version of each trend.
Plaid is one of those prints that most associate with school uniforms but it has really made it’s way to some key fashion pieces. There are so many possible color variations that can be done with this print and it’s super easy to build on. Oh and it looks good on both genders!
Neons are always fun and the fact that its now a trend for the Autumn/Winter season, I couldn’t be more excited! It is the surest way to stand out in any crowd. I’m sure you all have seen the infamous Kim K in her neon series on the gram as well as other celebs rock their neon looks. I can’t wait to do my take on it.
Track meets Fashion
Tracksuits are an all year round staple. They’re so convenient and versatile. For women we can make it look sporty chic just by adding a heel and men with the perfect trainers you will have all the swag you need. It’s a coord that has been popular for some time, especially in hip-hop culture and to be honest I don’t see this trend going anywhere, it’s here to stay!
So in my opinion animal print will never go out of style and I’m not surprised that it made the cut for this years A/W trends. I don’t believe in using real animals for clothing but I won’t lie the prints do look good on literally any garment.
Baddie in Brown
I remember growing up I hated the color brown but who knew it could look so chic in a well put together outfit. I’ve already started buying some pieces in different brown tones. I can definitely see browns taking over this fall season.
Did someone call for a Silk Scarf?!
Whenever I see these silk scarfs I either think of my grandmas old handkerchiefs or vintage Versace, I know total opposites. I’m obsessed with this trend for the obvious reason of it being soft and simply because it has a way of making anyone who’s wearing it look super expensive, and who doesn’t want to look expensive right?!
Boss Babe in a Suit
There’s something about a suit that just screams power. This “women in a suit” trend is so vital in this day and age, especially since so many women have been using their voices to make change. I can see this suit trend for ladies being a great topic of discussion, not just for the compliments of how good it looks on but how we feel once we put it on. Right after this post I’ll be browsing for my perfect A/W tailored suit.
I hope this post helps you guys stay on trend this Autumn/Winter and that you enjoyed it just as much as I did making it.
Love you dolls, until next time XoXo
